EI-CFY is known to us since June 1992, when it as imported from Carolina as N734JZ. It has been owned locally since then, and always been a favourite aeroplane for PPL self fly hire after people had done their training. The late model 172 aircraft are enjoying a renaissance as people buy them and upgrade what is already the most improved airframe. There are so many model year upgrades with the Cessna range, it makes sense to have the latest one you can manage to buy. Nobody has ever been, or will be disappointed with the paperwork on any of the NFC aircraft. The tech records will present like a commercial aircraft. Total time on CFY is 12334hrs TTAF and the engine has 2185hrs SMOH in November 2015. The propeller has 755hrs SPOH in June 2021. The aircraft has been maintained on Cessna Progressive Care which works well for aircraft flying more than 200hrs a year. We can send you a soft copy maintenance tracking sheet. There is a “T” in the serial number of the engine, we can explain to you why that’s important.
The panel has been lightened and simplified for it’s operations as a VFR training and touring aeroplane. There is a Trig TY-96 Com radio fitted for 8.33khz compliance and a Trig TT-31 Mode S fitted in the last year. The paint was repainted to standardise the aircraft to a school fleet scheme, and the interior has been recovered in grey vinyl.
We can offer the aircraft with an Export C of A if it needs to go to somewhere that is not another EASA state or the USA. The aircraft can be ferried or container shipped as required.
