Perhaps the only Mooney 252 Encore with FIKI for sale anywhere in the World, N97NM is ready to go a new home. Mooney enthusiasts will know how few 252's come for sale, and of those how few are Encore specification with 220hp and 3130lbs MTOW. Of those tiny few Encores, remember Mooney only made 27 of them how few of the remaining aircraft have FIKI TKS. This is a very select aircraft for someone searching for a specific model.

The Mooney 252 TSE moves like a knife in the flight levels, and runs wingtip to wingtip with C90 King Airs. It is perhaps the ultimate personal four-seater, and while we have it for sale we intend to enjoy it.

Previous owner has well-documented trips worldwide including a notable Atlantic crossing (full route records available).

Maintenance
100-hr / annual inspection completed 27 Aug 2026 — new battery, new ELT battery, new fuel cap seals and O-rings, new exhaust gaskets and hardware, gear retraction and emergency extension tested, gascolator serviced, wheel bearings repacked, wing spars and internals treated with ACF-50. Oxygen system currently INOP, as the bottle is past its hard life limit and expired; bottle and regulator would need replacing to return the factory system to service. As is typical for the type, the aircraft is flown day-to-day with pilot-supplied portable oxygen (modern electronic-regulator systems), so this has little practical effect on usability. Pitot-static and transponder (91.411 / 91.413) certification being renewed September 2026.
