This is an easy advert to write because we have sold G-HENT three times before. We know every owner back to 2001 when it was imported from Ghent in Belgium. There are very few, if any, 2 plus 2 aeroplanes under £30k that we would happily bring our kids up flying in. G-HENT is one of those loyal aeroplanes that we know back to front, and she has brought us home safe on days where the weather was right on the limits.
The Rallye type is enjoying a resurgence all across Europe. Type support is much better than most realise with all parts available new from RGV, and in used parts we have everything you could ever need. Think of the Rallye 110ST as the French equivalent to a Cessna 152. The 110ST is the 4th Generation of the series and only 64 of these models were made. This aeroplane is maintained at Bagby and happily sings along at 95kts over the Sea. The panel is simple and concise with a Trig TT31 Mode S and TY96 8.33Khz radio. The Lycoming O-235 is one of the best GA engines ever built and they are known for going to TBO and has 932hrs on it since Factory overhaul in 2001. The previous owners back in 2019 had a top-end overhaul done, never any harm to have a peek. The airframe has 6234hrs TTAF and the prop has 681hrs SPOH. Mags are about halfway to an inspection with 276hrs ran. The aircraft is on a 100hr SDMP and is due late Feb for its check. The current owner is a top jockey and used this aeroplane to commute to races on the National Hunt scene. Trading up to a bigger aeroplane, he will miss the grass strip performance that we will happily demonstrate with a grin on our face.show less
