When Socata launched the TB series it was a breakthrough in design, comfort and passenger appeal. Never before had GA pilots been able to have a 50-inch wide cabin, accessed by two doors revealing a plush automotive-style interior. The Tobago is striking from every angle and PHTG is a much later 1990 model. If you study the proportions of the design, looking at the generous vertical stab, long nose, and efficient wing then it starts to make sense as to how it can handle a 25kt maximum demonstrated crosswind. The Tobago is a big aeroplane, and inside it feels like one too because the cabin is so well soundproofed.
This example is a time capsule from 1990. Except for the addition of a Trig 8.33 Khz, you could feel like you were collecting a new one from Air Touring Services in Biggin Hill back in the day. Feel free to look at any others, but you won't find a G-Registered aeroplane with 1010hrs TT and 205hs SMOH on an in calendar time Lycoming factory engine. The prop has just 58hrs SPOH and has no marks or dings. Logs are complete back to birth, and it has always been UK based.
Just valeted and available to view in our lighted hangar at Bagby EGNG. We didn't even think we would need to advertise TG, but it's easy to look at in the hangar and useful for getting about economically. It won't take long for someone to realise what's on offer here, is a rare find indeed. We can take a PX on this, it's ours and we can go cash, either way, tell us what you have. We have fitted a Trig TT-31 Mode S which is not shown in the photos.
