The Alouette II is an iconic helicopter design, which proved very capable in service. SN 1666 was taken on charge for the Belgian Defense Forces in Dec 1961 where it remained in service for over 30 years. It took on a new life with Air Zermatt doing high altitude operations with them from 2000 to 2003. It was sold to Ireland in October 2005 and was VAT paid on import. At that time, the not inconsiderable task of getting onto the N-register as a standard category rotorcraft was completed. The aircraft was recently returned to service and is in regular use as a private ship. Now a new enthusiastic owner will get to enjoy this exquisite turbine toy, making them the star of the show wherever they land.

Right pedal on the way up, left pedal coming down just like other Airbus helicopters. Comes with a new annual, total time is c8500hrs we will go into details with a keen customer. The panel is basic with a King KX-155 Nav/Com, KI-208 indicator, KT-76A Mode C transponder and ICS S5V intercom.
