Robinson R22 Beta G-WADS

G-WADS is a 1989 Robinson R22 Beta which went through its third overhaul in November 2019. Her total time is 6,317hrs, which is 157hrs since it’s 2,200hr/12yr overhaul. Potentially you have 2,043hrs to run off in 74 months so the aircraft has lots of earning power. The ARC was issued on 30th Aug 2023, and the owner would now like to move ahead with the sale.

At the overhaul, the aircraft was fully disassembled, painted (Internally and externally), and reassembled with all decals and stainless steel I.D. plate installed. The interior was refurbished including seats, restraints and carpets. It has a 7-hole panel with standard equipment and AH, DI, VOR, Garmin GNC255a Radio and King KT-76 Transponder. A zero-hours engine was also installed at this time.

A recent survey included a test flight, and the 10 stone adults X2 to cruise at 1,000ft with 50% fuel at 20” MAP and achieved 93Kts IAS, which again is indicative of care taken during the rebuild and associated M/R hub shimming and flight control rigging. Delivery is possible at cost anywhere in Europe, and an export C of A can be arranged with an engineer familiar with the helicopter.
